Moving onto more platforms.

The Forge’s Requiem Trilogy e-books will be available in late November 2026 on more storefronts (eyes on Kobo, at the very least). The books will still be available to read normally on Kindle.
… why leave Kindle Unlimited / Kindle+?
There are several reasons why I’m choosing to spread my eggs into other baskets, so to speak.
The Stormforged books have been pirated, scraped, and fed to LLMs without permission, and there’s nothing that can be done to prevent it. While I loved seeing page reads tick upward, and loved the idea of readers being able to take a chance on an indie author at no cost to them, I ultimately believe availability on other platforms is the best path forward. KDP can - and has - banned authors for unauthorised listings on pirating sites, as Kindle Unlimited requires e-book exclusivity.
Besides that, and besides more personal reasons, I feel very strongly about preserving the humanity of creative spaces. I write books about robots, yes, but it was a lot more fun pre-2023 (I’m not stopping, though).
Future works may spend their first 90 days enrolled, depending on how things go.
What’s next?
SUPANOVA! This weekend! If I’m not at my booth, I’m probably in line to see Alan Tudyk.
At this stage, my only other in-person event scheduled is Turn the Page, Roll the Dice in March 2027. I’ll bring a copy of Altrameda’s character sheet.
The epilogue novella has a title and a cover. Edits are almost done.
The first novel of the next series is in the early editing stage. Cover is commissioned. Ball’s rolling on book #2.
