… what are these stories?

At uni, one of my professors said a good short story starts late and ends early.

As I mentioned in April, these stories are set in the 21st century (three-hundred years before the events of The Stormforged) and are centred around characters that appear in the main books. A few are only mentioned by name in The Forge’s Requiem Trilogy, but will feature more heavily in the next major series. Wink.

If you’re interested in some of the background worldbuilding of the setting, it’s worth picking up. I mean, it’s worth picking up regardless, because I love sci-fi short stories, but I digress.

This collection is dedicated to a couple of my favourite adventuring party members, Bob & Amanda. Love you, miss you.

Future Plans 

I’ll be at the South Australian Author Showcase in Salisbury on September 12th, then at Supanova at the end of October. I didn’t expect to get into Supanova this year, but here we are!

The novella to bridge The Forge’s Requiem Trilogy with the next series is looking pretty good. Hoping to share more about it after the New Year. :)
